Update - 2020-2021 Vancouver Military Dinner

October 18, 2020

2019 funds presented to Honour House

Six months ago, we were scheduled to gather together to share stories and support the brave people who serve Canada. Instead, we've been hunkered down, focused on our families and wellbeing while the world seemingly turns upside down. It has been a trying time for us all, and we hope the entire extended Vancouver Military Dinner family is safe and well.

The organizing committee continues to monitor the global health situation, and examine options for rescheduling this year's event. As respecting local protocols and ensuring the safety of our guests are our priorities, we do not yet have a firm plan, and the event remains postponed indefinitely.

If you're looking for good news stories in the meantime, we recommend you continue to follow our 2020 Featured Charity - Soldier On. The pandemic hasn't slowed them down, and they're working hard every day to support Canada's finest.

We also want to take a moment to thank the Canadian Armed Forces members and first responders who have been doing their duty despite the incredible challenges of the past few months. We appreciate your service, and can't wait to propose a toast to you when we next meet.

As soon as we have a way forward, you'll be the first to know. Getting everyone back together once it is safe to do so will be especially enjoyable after all of this. While we wait, please stay safe. We'll see you soon.

2020 Vancouver Military Dinner Postponed

March 15, 2020

2019 funds presented to Honour House

As the world takes increasingly-drastic measures to halt the spread of COVID-19, we've made the painful decision to postpone the 7th Annual Vancouver Military Dinner. As much as we were looking forward to April 18th, we feel that this is the only appropriate course of action to ensure the health and safety of our guests in this unprecedented time.

We will be monitoring events closely, and a new date will be announced at an as-yet-undetermined point in the future. In the meantime, we're working to refund ticket purchases in the coming days.

Our online donation portal will remain open for the foreseeable future. If you're looking for a truly worthwhile place to donate to charity this year, our friends at Soldier On - and the sailors, soldiers, aviators, and veterans whose lives they work so hard to improve - would appreciate the help.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We remain committed to raising awareness of the amazing men and women who serve this great country, and the Vancouver Military Dinner will continue working towards that goal in the months and years to come.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and don't forget to wash your hands,
